Change doesn’t come without it’s challenges. Our thoughts automatically go into flight, fight or panic mode when there is a disruption in our lives, but only we can choose how we respond and our reactions to them.

We’ve heard of the common phrase, “Fake it to you make it.”, but what if we could change our narrative to “Learn to be comfortable in uncomfortable situations.”?

Embracing fear and uncertainty can help change our mindset and perspective. If we can learn to accept the things we cannot control, we can get through almost anything. Life isn’t always going to go the way we expect it to, but we’ve have all survived situations we once thought would break us and are now stronger because of it.

So today, it’s okay to be scared, frustrated, nervous and any other emotion you are experiencing. The most important thing you can do is reassure yourself things will get better and you can survive this too. If things are too heavy today, take the day to rest, give yourself grace and try again when you’re ready.
